Great product. I have 3 large dogs and the love the fresh water that Always full produces. Recommend the water dish to all pet owners. 2 thumbs up 👍
Using this has been a huge quality life improvement once I got everything installed and stable.
Day to day is the status lights are a bit annoying to figure out, and as an app developer, the app is not well designed to make it very obvious what the current status lights are indicating. I would have expected the app to help me decode the status very easily but I end up in the documentation on the website which is very difficult to actually find.
It was also a bit opaque on how to get the right fittings installed since I was just using a standard quarter inch valve from my plumber. The website FAQ is currently broken and doesn’t have good instructions on how to actually plumb the device. I ended up using this 1/4 inch plastic compression sleeve/ fitting to get the tubing to adapt properly to my valve: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-4-in-Compression-Sleeves-and-Brass-Insert-Fittings-2-Pack-800599/300095962
Would be awesome to see the documentation and app cleaned up, and have the installation kit include the right fittings.
The bowl runs about every hour and refills the bowl back to the water line. I haven't noticed it being off schedule. The bowl is light but sturdy and sits in the kitchen, just where we had the old water bowl. I like watching the random hair and bits of food get swirled and flushed down the bottom of the bowl. Our brown lab loves it so far!
Just arrrived and installed. Was pretty easy to hook up to my fridge water line that I wasn’t using. The hose is like a fish tank hose bubbler. Just had to get a fitting for it at Lowe’s called a compression fitting. I’m not handy with plumbing but was able to do this myself. The premium app service is $29 a year. I signed up for the autoship filters so I wouldn’t have to think about it much.
Absolutely love it! The company is new and know they will make things better, I am not happy with the subscription model for the app but it’s not a ton of moneyThe bowl it self is very well designed and it works!!!!Would love to see a stainless bowl upgrade instead of plasticMy animals had no problems getting used to the bowl!Water quality should not be a problem as it has two carbon filters! So way to set up!Not sure about durability as it’s new to me but it feels very well built and thought out!
Our brown lab loves it! I like watching the random hair and bits of food get swirled and flushed down the bottom of the bowl. And I can tell the bowl is running by the green light on top. The set-up instructions were pretty easy to follow - took about 10 mins to plug in the water tubes and USB connections to the bowl. The app login took another 5 mins after I found my wifi password. If you want, you check the app to see how much water your dog drank. The bowl runs about every hour and refills the bowl back to the water line. I haven't noticed it being off schedule. The bowl is light but sturdy and sits in the kitchen, just where we had the old water bowl. All good so far!
This is a good quality pet water bowl system. It's easy to setup and simple to clean. It runs quietly and doesn't leak. It's great to be able to hook it right to a 5 gallon jug. This is an easy maintenance system that keeps great water on tap for my dogs and cat.
Great bowl to keep water for the pups, keeps it clean. I love it that I don't have to refill as my two shepherds drink tons. I knock two stars off because I had high hopes for the smart functionality. Created a slower network as it can't handle 5Ghz but there's another catch! Your password can't be industry standard length. I reached out to support as I have no desire to set a shorter password for a date on hopeful app upgrades but was told they have no desire to increase password length at this time. I live it fir functionality, we never hear it as it's in the laundry room. But it seems to be a dumb bowl and not smart which sucks
I got this bowl for the rescue that I foster for. They have several pups on the farm that go through a LOT of water, especially in the summer, and animals always manage to get dirt and leaves, and fur and debris in their water bowls so I think that this is going to be a game changer for the dog run. I'll be sending along one of those 5 gallon water jugs from a water fountain since this will be sitting in the dog shelter that has power, but not water. I think that the version of this that uses a water jug isn't exactly sexy for in your home unless you plan to use it on a porch or in a garage or basement, but if you have a place for it where you don't care about elegance then this thing is great! It was easy to assemble, only took me a few minutes and the instructions are easy to follow and basic. I tested it out just using a water bowl just to make sure it works and how it works and once it had a minute to be hooked up and in the water to get the sensors going, it started filling the water bowl. I scooped out some water and it didn't take long for it to start to refill, it also ran through one of the filtering cycles. The fact that this will cycle the water in the bowl to clean and filter it without it dumping the water out and wasting it is so awesome. And while the pump of course does make noise, it's not that loud and it's only doing that when it's filling the bowl. I love that the cord and water tubing is wrapped in metal sheathing to protecting from chewers, and the bowl itself is a great size. This comes with 2 different types of filters, but even more important is that there is a metal mesh filter so that even if you have NONE of the cotton or charcoal filters in it, it will still at least filter out the worst of any debris and that mesh basket can just be rinsed out and popped back in.The app isn't hard to use, but I really appreciate that it's not required since the rescue is on a farm out in the country and relying on wifi isn't really a great option. So while that will be a nice feature for those that want all the bells and whistles, this bowl can be used in a more basic context as well.I mainly only gave this 4 starts because for the price, I really wish the bowl itself was stainless steel and the power cable had similarly tough protection on it for chewers. I also wish that this came with spare tubing.
This self-refilling water bowl has been really convenient. The pump keeps the bowl full without me having to constantly top it off, and the filtered water gives peace of mind that my pet is drinking something clean. The app feature is a nice extra — it’s helpful being able to see water usage and know they’re staying hydrated. It’s also nice that it can be upgraded to a wall unit later instead of having to buy a totally new system. The only thing to note is that you do need to keep the bottle filled and clean the parts occasionally so it keeps running smoothly, but that’s expected.Overall, it’s a smart upgrade if you want a low-maintenance, always-fresh water setup for dogs or cats.
Both my cats love the water bowl! I love that I don’t have to fill it and they get excited when it does the auto flush. I had the pump version first and then I bought the wall unit. Easy to install and no issues.
This pump filtration system is simply incredible. The easy setup with English instructions makes quick work of assembly. I attached pump to an old water jug that didn’t have the required cap on it. Easily rigged some plastic wrap and bungee to stabilize the pump. Lots of instructions about introducing it to your dogs so they won’t be startled by the filtration noise. My dogs were interested in what I was doing so watched assembly and heard the pump and filtration noise with us, so it doesn’t seem to bother them. Huge capacity water bowl and amazing design takes the annoying task of cleaning the water bowl off your plate🤩 We have 3 dogs and a cat and had to clean our old water bowl every couple of days, this one has been pristine since we put it in. Amazing form and function. Has an app if you’re interested in keeping track of use but I didn’t set up
There is some assembly required and you do need to read the instructions carefully, but it is an easy job that took about 10 minutes or so. The pump on top of the bottle fits loosely and once I turned it on, I needed to push it onto the bottle a bit harder for it to start pumping. The silicone hose used to pump out the water is long enough for a standard 5-gallon jug of water and once on, it starts up immediately. The pump action works well but it a bit noisy. Once the bowl is full, it stops but I was startled when it suddenly started to recirculate the water. That's a really nice feature to keep the water from getting stagnant. There are two filters included, one of which is charcoal activated. I don't know how long it lasts or how to get another one, so that's a shortcoming. It is pricey but it works. For many pet owners, it's a good value because this also has an app that will tell you if your pet is drinking enough. If nothing else, it's great to have if you're going to be away or if you have multiple pets. However, with the water jug, you do need a fair bit of space to accommodate the whole setup, so it might be worth checking out the option sink attachment.
This thing is pretty cool. I tapped into my fridge water line with some 1/4 inch push connectors, and it works great. My cat is drinking from it, and it refills automatically. I really feel like you need to hook it up to your plumbing to get the whole experience of this product. I don't want to fill bowls or lug around huge 5 gallon jugs. I feel like other people in these reviews aren't grasping the actual purpose of this product- it's not to filter the water (I really don't care about the filtering), it's to NOT have to fill a water bowl EVER again. It's amazing. Seriously, don't use the weird jug pump. Find a place where you can tap into a water line and never think about filling a water bowl again.
This works great at keeping water full at all times. I have the 9” and the size is a bit big but it works great for our cats. This wasn’t an easy set up for me. I had to find longer tubing.Cleaning the nasty debris that’s been flushed was the downfall for me. I thought that it had a draining tube but it just settles beneath the bowl. I honestly would rather just pick up their plain old water bowl and wash it daily. We will be using this only while we’re gone for vacations or sports travel.
This bowl can be ordered in one of two different sizes - 7-inch or 9-inch. When ordering this pet water bowl, you have two choices for how to connect the bowl to its water source. You can order the part that connects to the wall or to a bottle. When I ordered it, I didn't understand the difference between the two connections, so I ordered the wall connection thinking if it attached to the wall, it would be up out of the way. But I was wrong. The bottle connection does exactly what it says, you connect it to a bottled water source. I use the 5-gallon type of water jug.The wall connection connects directly to a hard water line, like your refrigerator. Originally, I ordered the wall connection but was not prepared to attach it to a water pipe. I contacted customer service and they were great. They sent me the bottle connection quickly and easily with no problem. The water bowl is great for making sure your pet's water bowl is always full, but it does have some drawbacks. When it "flushes" the bowl to clean the water, it sounds like a toilet flushing, although not really as loud as a real toilet. It's weird until you get used to it.I find the bowl's insert hard to remove when cleaning it. Although it comes with a brush and a hook to pull it out and clean it, I still found it difficult to remove. The connection to the water bottle does not screw on or tighten in any way, it just sits on top of the bottle. To make mine a little more secure, I drilled a hole through the bottle cap and fed the hose through it into the bottle. Use of the 5-gallon water bottle lasts quite a while however, when I pulled the tube out of the bottle, it was slimy, like when his old plain water bowl was dirty.Oddly, our three cats eventually started drinking from the bowl - after watching it for a few days. They were fascinated with the flush. However, my small dog still refuses to drink from it.Overall, although it's a good idea, I really don't think it's worth the price.
